Each summer, Swim Alberta organizes the Alberta Open Water Championship. This event is open to swimmers of all ages and skill levels including A.S.S.A. swimmers. The event which usually occurs in the late July is a great opportunity for A.S.S.A. swimmers to try out open water swimming.

NO OPEN WATER EVENTS WILL BE RUN DURING THE SUMMER OF 2010.

Swim Alberta is currently collaborating with Triathlon Alberta to co-ordinated future events, however difference in insurance coverage has delayed the 2010 event to the point that no open water event will be run this summer. You can look forward to a SERIES of open water events for the summer of 2011. For further information please contact Swim Alberta.
